The rare prototype for the Colt 1911 PDW. Basically a fully automatic M1911 with an extended magazine and foregrip. 

This isn’t a prototype, these were home-modified guns that were put together by gangsters using a Thompson foregrip and an extended magazine. Notable,  John Dillinger’s gang had a few of them.

It’s illegal to put a foregrip on a pistol though.
