I don’t care if your for or against guns. Whatever. But please, PLEASE do not sling around terms you do not understand to scare people into agreeing with you. In the past few days I’ve heard ‘semi-automatic’ thrown around damn near everywhere, and I really wonder if people know what that even means. So here. Here is an animation showing how a gun works (though Glocks are a little odd, their hammer not being outside the casing of the gun) and an explanation of what ‘semi-automatic’ means. Please don’t argue using terms you do not understand. It De-legitimizes your argument, whichever direction it’s in.

But if you truly do mean semi-autos should be banned, and realize that would mean people only having access to bolt action rifles etc then ok. That at least makes sense as an argument.

The irony in their argument as well is that a single well trained person can kill many more people with a bolt action rifle and bunch of ammo in stripper clips than a single moron with a semi-auto rifle and a few magazines. Semi-auto does not mean more or less deadly lol it’a all about the user. And if that user is a legal firearms owner, there is no reason for them to not be able to own whatever they care to.

If your to lazy to click the link I’ll sum it up for you. Guy has leather Galco holster he’s worn daily for just over 1 year. Over time, leather gets soft. This particular holster formed a crease that protruded into the trigger guard that guy wasn’t aware of. As he moves around to put his seat belt on his body moves the holster enough to depress the trigger on his G19 and gun goes off while it’s IN HIS HOLSTER.! Luckily “it’s only a flesh woundddd!” and can be treated with some disinfectant and a bandage but it blew a hole through his undies, pants, and car seat. Moral of the story…fuck leather holsters.

I think anyone who carries a glock with no safety and a round chambered, deserves to get a flesh wound. See Tex Grebner for an example(even though that was a Kimber 1911, same thing he should not have been carrying it like that)
